The family soon settled near Grangeville, where Gill Point — still known by that name today — was named after our family. In the early 1900s, Clark Gill Sr. ventured into the rugged Salmon River country near Lucile, Idaho, building the ranch that still operates today. The 4th and 5th generations of the Gill family continue to run cattle there.
